August 27-30th. Weekend-long Startup Intensive

There's lots of problems in student education right now, and Jumpstart EdTech provides students the opportunity to innovate on these problems sprouted from COVID-19 and even the normal classroom.


Students will have a weekend to develop a tech startup idea focusing on improving the student experience using technology, and who’s better to do it than students themselves!

Dr. Ai Addyson-Zhang is an educator and an entrepreneur. She received her MA and Ph.D. in Communication from Syracuse University and the University of Maryland. Ai is the founder of Classroom Without Walls, an alternative school to future proof the next generation. 


As an Adobe Education Leader, Ai specializes in incorporating social media and creative technologies into traditional curriculum to enhance student engagement and acquire 21st-century skills. Ai’s work has been featured in Forbes, Inside Higher Education, Pearson Education, Entrepreneur, Today Show, etc. 


Ai hosts two weekly live streaming shows, in which she interviews industry leaders in Business and Education, such as Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki. Ai additionally serves as an Adobe Education Leader and HubSpot Academy Instructor. 


Ai frequently speaks at academic and industry conferences including Inbound, VidCon, Inbound, Social Media Day, Social Media Week Lima (the largest social media marketing conference in the midwest), and others.
